There are thousands of sites that won't function if you block their popups. The answer
seems to be a "popup closer" app, not a blocker.

I've tried a popup closer from AnalogX called POW! I thought it would work because it's
suppose to close popups with IE and Mozilla based browsers like K-Meleon. Doesn't work.

Is there a popup closer (maybe a plugin) that works with K-Meleon?
