I use PDF-XChange Viewer plugin for Firefox, and it does not work properly with K-Meleon. It opened a PDF file properly only twice, while in the majority of cases the browser simply shows empty page. Is there a way to see PDFs properly in K-Meleon? Possibly I should use another plugin?
Just for example, a random court ruling (all other rulings from this site also do not work):

sometimes I have similar behaviour with Foxit Plugin, but mostly it works properly if application was installed correctly.
Cannot say anything about your app as I don't use it (and I think you'll hardly find people who use).
Try another app. For example SumatraPDF 2.x (last version with np-pligin in the box). Or Foxit Reader (I recommend version 4 through 7, not last 8)
Isn't your PDF Viewer Portable. This may cause an issue sometimes.
Anyway try to [BACKUP and] delete files mimetypes.rdf and pluginreg.dat in your profile folder (KM should be closed BEFORE you start). Restart KM.

No, it isn't portable. Plugin sometimes opens pdf, so it is not becaquse some types not registered.
I tried Foxit, the versions 7 and 8 have ribbon interface.
SumatraPDF does not have a browser plugin at all.
Well, I updated to the latest version (now it is called PDF-XChange Editor) and it seems to work well so far. Additionally, it now supports subpixel hinting in PDF!
Probably doesn't help anything (running KM1.6 here), but cannot get access there at all, only an error page claiming this site got "too many requests from my IP" or such.
My normal configuration is to open pdf's outside KM with sumatra.
PS: haven't used it in awhile, but pdf xchange viewer is one of my fave tools due to its handy extra functions and easy GUI, not just a viewer. Can highly recommend it to everyone. IIRC more stable and leaner as foxit which tends to crash and freeze. Had used XC not just at home but also on a modern job computer occasionally before IT issued some pro tool (which was nearly unusable, hated it but had no choice)
