I don't know what they did, but no way.

It is some JavaScript that doesn't run and make the site unusable (even links don't work), but, one way or another, it doesn't work.

I can't even sign out xDDD.

If you have an account there, could you test if with K-meleon 76 does work the personal pages, account settings, etc?


Isn't funny that obsolescence path is being rule by websites and browsers?

Heh. Not. It doesn't work in KM 76. Not in latest PaleMoon also. (But works in Chrome and latest SeaMonkey)

But simply change address to https://m.4shared.com/account/home.jsp to get into.

Well, it will be 'mobile' version but it's rather good, functional and convenient.

Moreover: after 1 visit to m.4shared.com you'll be able to use www.4shared.com - it will show you the mobile version too (it sets the cookie named 'classic view').

More findings (now bad): mobile version hasn't option to create new folder in account (or I've just failed to find it)...

I didn't know anything about the mobile version. The support pages don't work either

Of course, better this than nothing!!! . Even I can see the settings page, although they don't let you change much (mail and pass) :/


I still sent a mail asking them. Maybe it was a bug or totally intentional, what it is crazy.

I was searching in the support pages to contact them. I later remembered I contacted them once and mail address is support_at_4shared_dot_com

4shared just plain does not like KM. I tried to sign up and it was overnight before the confirmation e-mail came. This morning I clicked on the link in the e-mail and when the 4shared site tried to load, all that I saw was "Loading" symbol. The lock is broken for the their https. I use Opera Neon with the link from KM and that worked. After I logged off, I tried KM76 to log on. All I can get is the same loading symbol.
