You can easily install and use Kmeleon in Windows 10 with no problem. smiling smiley

I always recommend to use Rodocop's Kmeleon 76RC pro portable:

I use both KM75.1 and KM76RC2 on Win 10. I get around the problem of ownership and permissions by using the 7z versions. I first go to the root of C: drive and create a folder named KM_Pgms. Then I make folder(s) for each KM version that I intend to load. Extract the KM 7z file to the folder which is named for that version. Navigate to the k-meleon.exe file and double click it. K-Meleon will create its profile within the folder and start.

Hanlon’s razor is an eponymous adage named after Robert J. Hanlon that states: “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

Yes,
this is the general rule for using portable apps in restricted environment (user account in Windows for example):

don't place them in default system folders - create your own instead.
