-i tried the restart button, K-Meleon stop
but it doesn't restart, is it the normal run ?
-i can't sign in on the web site with my mail adress
perhaps i made a mistake could you verify it please ?

You haven't registered to the forum, so you can't sign in.

What error does the forum give to you?

Anyway you don't need to register to post unless you need to edit messages, subscribe, PM, etc.

But MOST IMPORTANT, we are talking about this forum, right?

K-meleon 76 PRO - Windows XP

I'm not aware of a restart button in K-Meleon official builds.
The stop button is for stopping page load.

i'm using K-Meleon 76 PRO
and there is a restart button but perhaps as it's not an official plugin
it's still under developpement...

i tried something
in "Preferences/K-Meleon Plugins/Macro Extensions"
- i unchecked "restart2"
- i stopped K-Meleon
- i checked "restar2" again
- ansd the button runs the next start but unfortunatly just once !!!!

I wrote a macro for the button. I will have a look at it again to see if there is a way to fix the problem.

Restart option is used to fail time to time. This is true. But most of times it works fine for me in all my builds (failing in about 10-15% of uses).

Feel free to try alternative restart option made by adodupan (should be installed in KM just like in FF)

the "adodupan plugin" show the message
"...it's not compatible with K-Meleon 38.7.1esrcre"
but no pb with this, it's just an option and not essential
anyway i find this soft really interesting to use
now it's my favorite browser

I suspect the problem lies with Javascript. I have not fully tested this yet.

I must first clean up the laptop where I was testing. JS is global but was changed many times in tabs to create session.

i installed the new updated plugin "cRestart plugin"
but i cant't find the button ?

It has no button. Use Ctrl+Alt+R hotkey instead to restart.

Note for developers and those users testing new stuff frequently:

it was intended by adodupan that his addon not only restarts KM quickly (optionally suppressing Profile manager dialog at startup), but also deletes startupCache folder (highly recommended when installing some addons to prevent glitches).
