and save "image as"

Many ways, here the 'traditional' one:
Figure out the command names on Edit > Configuration > Commands List
=> gives ID_SAVE_IMAGE_AS + ID_SAVE_LINK_AS
Add to "accel.cfg" in Profile folder (or the big one in defaults folder):
Edit > Configuration > Accelerators

The big prob and art is to figure out a handy, not yet used key combination....
The commands list above also contains a shortcut list (not complete), and same goes for the big accel.cfg in the defaults folder.

Add such lines, just syntax example, from an existing shortcut:
CTRL SHIFT VK_TAB = ID_TAB_PREV

I want do save images faster with a shortcut.
According to this thread I successfully added the shortcut to accel.cfg.


As the browser needs to know which image to save, I need to click the image first with the mouse before pressing the shortcut.

This works fine with a static image.
But if the image is a link, my click will direct me to a different page.

Can I specify the image to save just by hovering it with the mouse, or is there another solution?

Keyboard 'Alt/Option' key blocks navigation and allows to select a link.

Did you try? In theory should work, but haven't created an own shortcut for testing.

Personally am using my very handy macros FlexSave and FlexOpen, which show a little popup menu in case of image-link-frame conflicts, but sadly never gotten around yet to finish the draft.

Another thought: a few years ago that "superdrag" thingee was introduced in KM.
Perhaps what you need? Take a look at F2 > SuperDrags (a tab somewhere on right side)
