Netscape and Mozilla interact (badly) with WordPerfect, when printing from WordPerfect if either Mozilla or Netscape (newest releases) are open they will open multiple windows often using all available memory. K-Meleon does not exhibit this behavior. This is good but leaves me wondering: "Why?"

well, i would guess because k-meleon doesn't include the portions of mozilla that are included for wordperfect interaction... it doesn't sound like netscape should have, either, from the sound of it.

That was my assumption also, now for the $24 question: Which parts does Netscape use but K-Meleon does not?

well, the $0.02 answer would probably be "most of it."
my impression is that the gecko engine doesn't exactly make up the Bulk of mozilla... you'd probably have to brave the mozilla.org site for specifics... just a hunch.

Norman,
A good comparison is the download size of K-Meleon vs. Netscape or Mozilla. We are a lot smaller for a simple reason. We don't include a lot of bloat that can cause those problems.
