Keyboard mnemonic for menus

Is it possible to activate a menu using a keyboard mnemonic? E.g. Alt-F for the File menu? I am using kmeleon 0.6, Windows 2000 Professional.

right now, only if you have the rebar menu plugin disabled.

hopefully that'll get fixed, so you won't have to choose between the two.
