The K-Meleon proxy feature is very easy to use, but all those free lists are usually dead ends.

I must have tried three dozen IPs and got messages like "bad request" or "server overload" etc.

There are services where you pay a monthly fee and get access to private servers. If you're
trying to be anonymous, paying for private server access would almost guarantee that all your
online activities are logged by the company collecting the money.

I'm a proxy server newbie, so I need advice. Do I need a dedicated proxy app? What is the
best method for successfully using proxy servers?
