Since recently the fullscreen option on reddit videos doesn't work anymore. The fullscreen doesn't show a whole screen but only one half (the left one).

It does happen to me, but I'm with Gecko 31 browsers (K-meleon 75.0, Firefox 31).

But, instead, why not downloading the real video.

This trend about .gifv is a way to hide a real .mp4 file without sound.

I really hate this trend of videos as "gifs".

I don`t think this belongs to the "Bugs"-forum.
No problem switching to the large gif format (1920x800px) with both K-Meleon 75.1 and 76RC2.

That crappy gif needs more than 20 seconds to load, even with my quad-core CPU and eats a few hundreds of MBs. :mad:

That's exactly how latest FirefoxESR 45.9.0 behaves so it's definitively not a K-Meleon bug.

Really hundreds of MB? with the direct link above it is only 5.5MB

But it's also true that that small video, being just slightly bigger than 720p, eats loads of CPU time.

It's not a problem for me since I have 8GB at disposal but nevertheless it's impertinent.
