How to save login data on https sites?

Hi! I know that this is possible, because I use this for several https sites. But in the case the login data change, I managed it to delete old data, which is now not inserted automatically, but I don't find a way to save the new login data.
Thank you very much in advance ...

When you deleted the old data, how did you do that? I ask only because that might direct the method to use to make site available to save password now.

Under TOOLS > PRIVACY > VIEW_DATA > VIEW_PASSWORDS, see if the site displays in the list. If not there change the view to "Rejected Sites" and see if the site appears in that list.

If the site appears in the list of rejected sites, highlight that site and click on REMOVE SELECTED. Close the view panel and navigate to the site and enter your login data. KM will no longer refuse to ask if you wish to save your login data.

1. Just too be sure, open preferences and check in Privacy & Security that the check is still in the box for "Remember login data".

2. Which version of KM are you using?

3. Can you post the URL of the site that is giving you a problem? The newest KMs uses old Gecko engines. - 75.1(31) 76RC2(38) - I think Firefox is up to the 50's in versions now. It might become necessary to change your user agent if the site has updated the method for login.

Some sites like banks (e.g. Deutsche Bank) use code that prevents saving login data.

One older KM had a glitch and saved all or part of these no-save bank logins.

But it would only do it once. When You touched the data - it stopped for that site.
