Problem of high cpu usage when watching video

The cpu usage of K-Meleon Web Browser is very high when i watch videos on youtube. How to solve it? Thanks.

And what is your video card?

Well, KM isn't a better player now for YT. The same video Firefox plays smoother (but CPU usage is almost the same). But KM performs better for me than Basilisk and Borealis on Goanna 4.x

P.S. In general, 30-60% of CPU load is quite normal for watching browser video with average i5 - especially while using full screen: youtube automatically switches to HD in this case.

Use hooktube.com or invidio.us - much lighter youtube scraper sites.

To redirect youtube search results to one or the other use
