I am having problems to connect to a Mattermost server, using the latest development build of KM Goanna 76.2 2020 06 13, it responses the following error:

Cannot connect to Mattermost
We're having trouble connecting to Mattermost. If refreshing this page (Ctrl+R or Command+R) does not work, please verify that your computer is connected to the internet.

I already tried to override the user agent to one supported according their documentation, but still don't work.

The exact url is https://chat.reactos.org

If you are sure it is a version specific issue you can now use the re-opened thread for that specific version:

Otherwise, wait for other users advice. I only can tell myself, on K-meleon 75.0, the site opens, but, obviously, doesn't work for this version.

The site loads a tiny animation and in the source code appears the error message, I use Windows XP SP3 and there is no other browser which the site works, btw visiting the site with a newer version of firefox, loads properly

There is a Javascript runtime error.

I only can recommend to use and irc client and go to freenode server and enjoy the ~100 persons that are right now there.

Or use another browser.

Sadly irc web clients request features that only most updated browsers support. It has been always that way. Even almost 2 decades ago.

Just a tiny chance, works on a few sites, but no idea about this one:
check if this pref (helps identifying and tracking users) is false, and if it helps to set true?

it uses a for/in syntax that Goanna 3 engine doesn't accept:
