long ago i globally disabled javascript on the k-meleon start. now i want to enable js on browser start, but i forgot what i did and where. just remember it was manual editing some cfg file.

Probably you edited user.js in your profile folder and hardcoded the default value for javascript.enabled preference.

Otherwise you might have edited a default file under \browser\defaults\preferences the same way.
