A whole lot difference.

You are comparing apples and oranges.

K-meleon is a browser shell and selenium is an addon that, to K-meleon or any browser, would compare with Greasemonkey.

So, to achieve that on K-meleon, you would need to use scripts like those for Greasemonkey, and, out of the box, K-meleon doesn't have it either.

The macro language is very basic in comparison. You can't mimic user interactions without interacting yourself with the page first (except with some events as onload (after page load)). And even interacting, it won't automate the actions you are looking for without the Greasemonkey like scripts (JavaScript code).

In other words you need something else, as selenium is for other browsers, to interact with the page. K-meleon, as a browser shell, is not an addon nor its macro language is a replacement for advanced addons like selenium.

In the other hand it is the option to adapt/install selenium to K-meleon, what I don't if it is even possible nor have time to test.

But as you expect use K-meleon as a replacement to selenium, I don't know if it is an option to you, anyway. After all, you could use another browser, known you have to install it on a browser anyway.
