Is there a way that K-meleon can automatically call a Dial up networking connection similarly to IE?
it does this just fine on my system... so it definitely CAN work... you might need to play with DUN settings to get it set up, though... are you using a recent windows version?

I am using win2k. I have just done a fresh intall of K-meleon and hacven't really played around. Does it du\ial up by default?
well, it worked from the get-go on my win98 system, but it probably has more to do with what happens when your system dial-up thinger detects a program trying to access the internet, than it does with k-meleon... as apps go, kmeleon seems to be pretty standard as far as what happens when you try to access a URL without an active connection - it waits patiently while the dial-up does it's thing.
i don't know anything about configuring network stuff on win2k machines, so i can't help you too much there... but i'm sure it can be done (assuming admin privileges).
