Hello everyone. So far I am impressed by K-Meleon, and I like the options that it has.

However, for some reason "https://youtube.com/"; always redirect to its version for mobiles "https://m.youtube.com/";.
If someone could give me a solution, or explanation, for this problem; I would be very grateful.

Might you be using a different user agent than the default?

You can check (and post here if you wish) the current user agent from Help menu > about K-meleon

To me happens if I set, for example, Opera Mini as its user-agent.

In case somebody has the same problem:

1° Search "about:config" in your url (Press "I promise to be careful!").

2° In the search box, search "general.useragent.override.youtube.com".

3° Double click, and paste this as value "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0".

4° ( restart browser )

I am still scratching my head as to why this is necessary, but hey ho!

but now there's a new problem - youtube can no longer view a user's youtube "channel" page or KM doesn't show the channel page

Switch to desktop version:
https://www.youtube.com/?app=desktop&persist_app=1
Switch to mobile version:
https://www.youtube.com/?app=m&persist_app=1

i fixed this problem by setting "general.useragent.override.youtube.com" entry as "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0"

now youtube channel pages get displayed correctly
