Maybe someone can help out on this problem. I originally downloaded
and successfully run the browser without the bookmark feature. I then
decided to load the bookmark plugin so did an uninstall as recommended
and then reinstalled the browser. Now when i attempt to load the browser
i get the error msg. "Missing export MFC42.DLL:6491" I downloaded an
updated version (4.21.7303) of MFC42.DLL but still have the problem. I'm
running Win95.

Maybe the "updated" version is still too old? My MFC42.dll is 6.0.400 (on Win98SE) and K-Meleon is working. If you want to get my dll and take the risk - I don't know if that file will work on Win95 -, I can send it to you by mail. Write to me at aule/at/tfz.net (replace /at/ with the sign). Then you have to put the file in Windows/System by replacing any older version (you can always make a backup copy just in case) - did you do that with your present file? And finally, you may have to register the dll (Put the dll in Windows/System, open your dos-prompt in Windows/System and type "regsvr32 mfc42.dll" and then press enter. I am not sure if this will work but it may as well...)

Andres, thanks for the offer to send the dll but i went to http://ftpsearch.lycos.com/?form=medium and found a newer version which i dnloaded. Now all i have to do is
install it and see if it works. The strange thing is my old mfc42.dll worked fine with my original installation of k-meleon and it wasn't until i uninstalled the browser and
reinstalled it that i had a problem.
