"throbber" missing?

I have been using Kmeleon for a few weeks and it's generally been great but I noticed the other day that my "throbber" (I think that's what it's called ... the little icon in the top right corner that animates when a page is loading) is gone. I can't find any option to turn it back on, either in preferences menu or in the Prefs.js file.

It's not a big deal but kind of annoying nonetheless. Suggestions? smiling smiley Should I just reinstall?

There should be a file called Throbber.avi in the following directory:

C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles\default\qci30dbh.slt

If is not there you can copy it from the following directory to your profiles directory above.

C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\defaults\profile\Throbber.avi

I've found that sometimes the throbber is missing (it isn't on _this_ window), and sometimes it is there.... (it is on _that_ window _over_there_). Personally, I don't
care either way... With IE it is useful to see the world/e spinning round so that you can tell if its crashed or not :-)
I guess the throbber not being consistent is a bug though.

Tim,

Can you provide us with more details on when this happens?

Also, your OS and version of K-Mel would help too.

Thanks!

Andrew
