Hi all,
What's the current status for K-Meleon? I just downloaded Mozilla 0.9.7 and found "way" faster than K-Meleon but I want to stick with K-Meleon mainly because I don't need all that "other stuff" they included.

Cheers
Andreas

I use Moz 0.9.7 as well.
But if you want only the browser part, you could do a custom install and leave out the rest.
I heard it's even possible to download the browser.xpi file separately and install it. You have only the browser part then.

K-M has an advantage of being configurable to a much more extend then Moz or NS.
On slower machines, there is also the advantage of speed.

On top of this in these K-M forums a lot of people give good tips and things get worked out. This is far from the case in NS/Moz news groups.

On the subject of 0.9.7, is it at all possible to manually upgrade the moz part of km from a moz install? I really want to be able to use the correct url cursors, rather than the finger things!

you can download the current kmeleon source from cvs, the mozilla 0.9.7 source and build it yourself . (its no small project however)

Rob,

Have you successfully done that? If so, e-mail me.
