I installed k-meleon on my wife's old Dell laptop. The system's display is set to 256 colors, but k-meleon only displays graphics in 16 colors. All of her other apps display correctly. For now she has gone back to using IE because the displays are much cleaner, but she would prefer k-meleon because it is not a resource hog.

Any suggestions as to why only k-meleon is stuck on 16 colors. (Works fine on my PC in 16 or 32 bit mode...)

Did you try reinstalling it? Maybe some setting was different when you set it up.

Yep, several times. I've opened a bug on this, 155, but am told they can't replicate it. I've replicated on 3 diffrent systems now, different OS's versions, differenct video cards, etc. Seems strange to me that they can't replicate it.
