I load KM and cant seem to get bookmarks to show.
I can get IE favourites to work but wanted mozilla bookmarks to load.
In the plug in page theres no plugin for bookmarks.
during the install I tried unchecking the IE plugin and leaving the NS plugin
checked. but still no bookmarks show on the toolbar.
any ideas?

maybe try reinstalling it , uninstall it first though

I've got the same problem (K-Meleon 0.6), the Netscape bookmark plug-in is installed in the kplugins directory, but it doesn't show up in the plug-ins list of the preferences dialog, and there's no menu for loading or editing bookmarks.

I also wasn't prompted to import an existing bookmark file when starting K-Meleon.

Is it necessary to have a complete Netscape or Mozilla installation or something like that ?

That's weird, the bookmark menu just showed up, I'm not sure what I did. I also notice a lot of colored icons in the menus now.
