If you think CTRL-G is great, try searching for fun or run without using quotes. You should be as surprised as I was. Or how about searching for "stuffed bell peppers" (with quotes). When I tried that, this is what I got:

"stuffed bell p"stuffed bell p 57w

Or searching for "running boards", I got:

"running "running (note: there is a space after the second running)

I can't imagine how people can say this feature works great. I have yet to get it to work properly. It looks to me like the google search still needs a little work.

the fix for this has been discussed on this thread:

it's because of something that changed at google since the release of the last version, which is obviously beyond the developer's control...

Alt+G, type query, press enter with Google Toolbar in IE.
