win98 problem with kmleon

just installed kmeleon 0.6 (this isnt the beta its the full verson based on the old mozilla ) on windows 98 but it doesnt have the menubar (file edit etc). It used to have that before I reinstalled windows. Can anyone help?

nevermind guys installing IE6 and windows updating fixed the problem and km0.6 is working fine

Just for reference for anyone else who has this problem - it's covered in the release notes. Here's the section:

* The text menus don't display when K-Meleon starts.
Users with Windows95 and versions of Internet Explorer older than 5.0 need to download and install the Common Control Library from Microsoft:

I've just done a clean install with 98lite using the Micro configuration, and haven't had this problem at all. My installation is based on 98SE and the 95 OSR2 shell, with no IE installed. I did however reinstall TCP/IP utilities for another program, so perhaps that explains that. Just thought this might be useful for other 98lite users.
