component.reg modified?

I just noticed that this file in the root K-Meleon directory has been modified today. Never noticed it being changed before. I haven't accidently merged it by double clicking on it either AFAIK. What would happen if I do double click to merge it?

The reg-file from K-Meleon isn't a register-file. It's a kind of data-file that K-Meleon uses. So if you double-click it, you would get an error.

actually, if you double click it, windows will probably ask you "oh yeah? if you're so smart, what do you want to open it with, then?" smiling smiley

it's a file that keeps itself updated, so it may be automatically modified from time to time... you can even delete it, and it'll regenerate next time you start k-meleon, just like a lizard's tail...
