M$ 'Warning'

I had to change ID of KM to 'M$ IE6.0' to get access to a site and forgot to change back.

I have just been surfing and all of a sudden this popped up as I hit a new site:

<a href="linicks.dyndns.org/java.jpg">Use M$ Java!</a>

I have never seen this beofre, so I presume I was given it at the last M$ update (7 Apr. 2002). Whatever are they going to try next?

Nick,

Actually, I think your browser ID is confusing your JRE install. It knows you have a "Netscape" browser but it is ID'ing itself as a MS browser. So JRE thinks you are using the wrong plugin. Switch your ID back to Default and the error message should go away.

Ummm... it's never happened before?

Andrew, are you saying that KM or JRE produced the message box and not a Windows kernel (or whatever) thread of sorts?
