Beta builds

I noticed in an earlier topic that beta builds are available for those on the developers list to test. Would it be possible to have these builds available for those that aren't interested in doing direct development but are interested in testing for bugs. This would be great as It would allow me (and others) to see the progress happening on the project.

I know there is the option of downloading the mozilla and kmeleon source and building it yourself however this is not something I really want to do. A binary is much easier.

I concur! ;-)
Wouldn't do any harm, would it?

Yes, we encourage beta testers for bug testing. However, you will have to sign up to the developers list. We used to post to the site but some people took those to be general releases. So, for now, we'll only be announcing the betas on the developers list.

But I thought the "developers list" was for "developers" only?!?
Anyway, keep up the good work, K-Meleon rocks!

Markus,

The developers list is for anyone interested in being involved in the K-Meleon development process. You don't have to be a coder to be on the list.
