Java applet error

Hi

I wondered if anyone can help me.... I regularly get errors on pages with java applets (so much so that I usually have java turned off in my K-Meleon preferences).

When I encounter an error with an applet, I click on the "Retry" button and get the following msg...

K-MELEON caused an exception 03H in module MSVCRT.DLL at 017f:7800d9cc.

I am running Win98SE with JRE 1.3.1. I checked my system and I only have one version of msvcrt.dll (ver 6.10.8924.0). Does anyone have any ideas how to stop this happening?

Thanks - Rhys
