File Associ help: How do I make K-Meleon open clicvkable links in my mailprogram

Ok. Short story.

I wanted to associate K-Meleon with clickable HTTP links from my mailprogram, since it kept asking for Opera (one of my previous browsers). So I looked through the file association list and entered K-Meleon instead in the URL: Hypertextyada

This only made K-Mel open up a standard window while not opening the URL

So I made a deliberate mistake. I deleted the URL:Hypertextyayda association completely. And now IE (pr default I gather) opens every time I click a link in my mail program.

Can anybody help me regain my clickable URL links to open with K-Meleon when I click a such a link from an "outside" program?

Regards,
Peter

Firstly, what E-Mail client are you using?

Eudora. Not that it really matters, 'cause it wanted it resolved at "top level" iinstead of a hack in my mailprogram smiling smiley

Fixed it in the meantime. I resolved IE to check whether it was default browser, upon which it re-installed the file associations for URLs. Then it was a minor matter to replace with K-Meleon instead in those file associations. Works like a charm now
