Is it possible to change/edit this feature (using the config files perhaps) so that, if there is no .com address, k-meleon searches for .net, .org etc, like opera does???

As I live in the UK, this would be especially useful, as it would save me having to type entire .co.uk addresses.

Thanks in advance,
Allan Lewis.

these are the prefs related to that - i haven't tried changing them, but it should work:

pref("browser.fixup.alternate.prefix", "www.");
pref("browser.fixup.alternate.suffix", ".com");
