K-meleon has ALMOST supplanted IE5.5 on my machine, but because it is an older beast (w95b 64M P133) I still have to use IE55 when I plan to open a lot of nNEW WINDOWS..

If I use Kmeleon, all other windows freeze when ONE window is loading a page...

Unless there is some nifty setting I can change to give each window a
seperate "thread' or "priority" or "process" or "bowl of cocoa puffs" or........

I REALLY do like that I can clean spam from Hotmail faster with K than with IE55 !!!

I ALSO REALLY LIKE that I can access one Hotmail acct with K
while I have another open in Ie55

Ahh, another who suffers from this problem. See the topic "Gecko freezed K-meleon (and all embedded apps)" lower down in the forum.

This seems to be a Mozilla bug. You may find it here:

I, too, have noticed this - on a dual PII/333.

Opening in the background on several links at once will freeze the windows for a second or two.

I need to add that to the FAQ....
