For what it's worth, I just went to download.com and downloaded a file with no problem at all, using K-M .6

I am using v0.6, with Proxomitron, and I still can't download anything from download.com. The same downloading page keeps being loaded out but download never begins. This is the only site from where I can't download anything with K-M.

I don't think it's a K-Meleon problem. It sounds like a script problem due to the filtering by Proxomitron (like WebWasher). Have you ever tested the site with deactivated Proxomitron? (don't forget the reload)
