Does anyone have problem saving html files or pictures using K-meleon? Sometime when I try to save a picture, damn kmeleon will create a html file with the picture's file name. Here's a sample of the file I tried to save(All these html codes are contained in the "type_99-_4.jpg" file):
<html><body><p><img src="http://www.centurychina.com/plaboard/uploads/Type_99-_4.jpg"; alt="The image “http://www.centurychina.com/plaboard/uploads/Type_99-_4.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors."></p></body></html>
Sometimes kmeleon will simply refuse to save the file, no matter how many times I try. It happened quite often with html files.

Sicne nobody else actually responded to your question, I will. No, that never happens to me. Every file I've ever saved with K-Me worked fine except in cases when Windows was at fault & ruined the file for whatever reason; usually low hard drive space -- & even that's not too common.
actually, this is a known bug with 6.0, since fixed... the release candidate for 7.0 is shuffling towards the compiler to be born, i think, very shortly... this should be fixed in that version.

I've been running into this problem recently. Only solution I cold find was to restart k-meleon. It's a very annoying bug.
This is a known bug with 0.6. To get around it - when saving a page go back and right click the link, select Open in New Window. The page should then save when you next try on reaching it again. With images try right clicking and selecting View Image. I haven't actually had problems saving images, but this opens them in a new window, so should get round it if you do.
