mouse buttons configuration

Is there any way to configure custom responses to mouse button events? I would like to add "back" functionality to the 4th button of my mouse.

TIA

Stolmeister,

Which mouse software are you using? Someone noted that you can bind the buttons on MS software to specific keyboard combinations that K-Meleon recognizes for back button action.

Hi Andrew,

I'm using a Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical, but I'm just using the generic USB drivers under XP (not the MouseWare kludge).

I had the 4th button configured as a back button in Mozilla 0.9x on one of my old Linux installs. Required some PITA tweaking of prefs.js IIRC.

Do you know if K-Meleon supports the full range of options in prefs.js that Mozilla does, or just a W32 based subset?

Can you point me to more info about binding keyboard actions to mouse buttons in K-Meleon?

Thanks...

Stolmeister,

We don't have anything K-Meleon specific with the mouse buttons. Try the Mozilla settings and let us know how they work.
