History: Have been using 6.0 for at least 10 months, here at home and work. Sometimes frustrating (filling in web forms etc., although I am missing the fun and games in that area), sometimes annoying (the focus being retained in the URL field), and even worse crashing with the wallet.dll on passworded sites. But I stuck with it because it was the best of a bad batch of alternatives.
Got up to speed with the recent rush of releases 6.5, RC1, RC2 and attempted to help out on the testing.
K-Meleon 7.0.
I like minimum crap, so therefore do not use nor enable layers, tabs, etc.
This browser is now (dare I say?) perfect for me. I have a basic toolbar, and basic menu. Works fast. In fact,it just works.
Thank you all involved. Just what the doctor ordered and exactly what I wished for.
...and modular enough that, hopefully, it can be just what a wide variety of people wished for. I'll add my thank-you here, too... for the macro stuff, in particular.
