I have been using Opera 6.5 for the past couple months. For the past weeks it's been acting up and I'm fed-up with it. What I'm looking for is for a converter that would convert Opera bookmarks to HTML format that IE or Netscape format that K-Meleon can read. Opera doesn't seem to want anyone to swich to another browser. I'm going to try MyIE or Kmeleon until they release a new version of Opera or if I like one of the other two browsers, I may never switch back. I have been through a lot of browsers over the years which includes IE, Netscape, Mozilla, and Netcaptor and K-Meleon is looking good. I read some reviews on http://www.arstechnica.com about the Gecko rendering engine and I'd really love to use K-Meleon if I could get my bookmarks converted.

I do not know if it is Opera not allowing., or K-meleon not getting it the job done..
I set up the Opera Hotlist, and all I got was K-meleon in the empty toolbar. So, I thought that I should Add, and I got another K-meleon.
If K-meleon does to Opera what it did to Netscape, I would rather have an empty toolbar. You can see what I mean in the Bugs board.

I got a link on an Opera website that led me to a program called Bookmark Priest. I used that to convert my Opera bookmarks to HTML. Then I imported that to IE, and and now I have access to my bookmarks in K-meleon. Now I have all my bookmarks in the Favorites drop down menu. But it isn't arranged and there seems to be no way to arrange it in alphabetical order.
