I did install K-M without thr option to use the quick load function.
Yet when my XP is started there is already a 7MB k-meleon exe in the processes list.

How come?
How to avoid?

There shouldn't be any K-meleon processes going. Double-check your start-up to make sure that K-Meleon isn't loading.

I have been away for a while and couldn"t check here.

Although I didn't tick the option to use symbiotic/quick loader on installation, you were right, there is a loader in startup.

Dunno how it came in there.

OK, I'll check on that and make sure that there isn't a bug in the installation process.

I tested this on a fresh install and unselecting the Loader at start up did work correctly. This was on Windows XP.

I'm on XP also.

On a next install I'll watch specially for this.
