Mouse Bindings?

Is there a way to bind the middle mouse button to "Open in background layer" (or anything, for that matter)? I'm so used to this now, it's too annoying to have to click twice! ;-)

Thanks...

Sorry, not yet. Many people have asked about this though, so maybe in the future. You could make a macro that does what you want, put it with an accelerator(CTRL+whatever) and then bind the mouse button to that accelerator.

The problem is ex-Mozilla users not only want middle-click to open a new layer as in CTRL-T, but actually to use middle-click on a <a> link to open the link in a new layer. Sorry for beating this dead horse. smiling smiley
