When I try to clear the url history from the tools -- privacy--url history menue item, nothing happens. It seems that the other privacy items clear, however, not the url. What do I need to do. I am using km 1.02.

1. ) needs AFAIK shutdown and re-start, after You applied the setting to plugin
in Tools menu or Privavcy bar.
2.) Can AFAIK not clear the url where You are while You are there.

Well you have to restart or shutdown but not after applying "Clear URL...". The entry does not work. The workaround is to set it.
Tools> Privacy> Settings
Either clear on startup or clear on shutdown.

Thanks for the reply. I did go to Tools> Privacy> Settings and on the "address bar history" setting, I checked "clear on startup". Additionally, I checked "clear now." In neither case did the url history clear. In order to clear any history items, I had to use a text editor and go into the profiles folder and delete the entry. I didn't have this problem in v.9

I have the same problem - KM 1.02 german.

My K-Meleon 1.02 Address Bar History is set on "clear on shutdown". When I shutdown K-Meleon, then restart, the Address Bar History has no entries in it.
