Hi,
When I open K-M from a link, say in my e-mail package, it opens minimized. How can I get it to open maximized?

AFAIK It should open as You close it - maximise before exiting k-m.

Hi,
It's gone back to it's old behaviour. I'm not sure 'minimized' is the right term. When I click on my quick launch icon, a bar appears in the task bar with 'k-Meleon' on it. No window opens. It always does this when I click on a link. I want it to open in a full blown window.

I had such a problem with K-Meleon when there were two instances of the browser running in the background. So, in my case, terminating all the browser .exes with the Task Manager helped and then restarting again.
Hello. To always open maximized by default just edit your Prefs.js and add the following line:
user_pref("kmeleon.display.maximized", true);
Remember to edit the prefs.js on your current profile, if you edit the one in the defaults folder you'll need to delete your profiles folder (and you probably wouldn't like to do that).
