I've noticed, with 1.02, the memory load slowly increases, just as FF does.
Both seem to "hang around" long after I turn them off.
I've had to open my W2K Task Manager and kill the process in order to regain my memory.
Is this common?
Can it be alleviated?

The setting makes sence since k-m will only be given RAM that is available.
The memory is needed to manover backward fast.
You can switch that off but I would not do that.
It reduces speed.
Minimize k-m to tray gives the memory back.
If You know that You want to start a memory hungry application You can do that.
btw. As far as i recall all older k-m did also kept some memory, that is in the GRE.
