Hell0

I am trying to download from an FTP server but it responds with a 530 error message. It has been suggested on a webpage to check my 'site manager' however, i can't find the suggested site manager - where is this on K-M and what would I be looking for?
(the web page suggested the site manager to be located under tools),

Cheers.
Leanna.

Sorry I can probably not help You.

530 is incorrect password. The person was probably refering to an publcation software e. g. Dreamweaver with inbuild site manager. If You own the FTP server You would have that program with a tools menue. This site manager is in a Tools menue. If You want to upload and have wrong password You get error 530 and You look whether FTP upload program or site manager has correct password settings.

On k-meleon1.02 You can check whether You misspelled the password that lets You use the FTP server to download something. That is done under Perferences -> General -> Show Passwords. K-Meleon tools menue conatains AFAIK only browser tools such as privacy, search, translation...
