Site causes total freeze

I just had a series of dirty shutdowns because I couldn't believe at first that www.axantum.com was causing the crash. But it did, and with Firefox too. The only thing I can see that could be triggering the computer's epileptic fits is some probably IE-specific code, apparently navigation related (got page from cache)...but why, how? What-the-Fluff does it tickle so bad?

I only wanted to check out some free software, I hit the link at xtort.net. Heck of a note when links you can trust shut you down. sad smiley Nothing's safe or sensible any more. I think it's time I installed a text-only browser for days like this. mutter...mutter sad smiley

Our Sturgeon Bay (?) friend definitely had a bad time with k-meleon & IMHO win98?

I think it was site or OS specific but lets try to get all info we can.

Both webs load good in KM 1.02 with win2000 SP4 too.
As guenter says, can be a problem with win98. I'll tried in my win98.
