HTTPS caching in k-meleon?

Is it possible to cache HTTPS pages in K-meleon? I put the following in my prefs file, but it doesn't seem to work:

user_pref("browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl", true);

The pages go onto the memory cache okay, but not the disk cache.

I am sharing a disk cache with Mozilla 1.2.1. Could this be a problem?

Thanks.

Just as an FYI. I would change the default cache name in either Moz or KM. Look in Prefs.js.

Moz:
user_pref("browser.cache.disk.parent_directory", "Z:\\caches\\");

KM:
user_pref("browser.cache.disk.parent_directory", "Z:\\cache\\");
