I am new to K-Meleon. I want to have the "Alt+D" shortcut for highlighting the url in the URL bar just like IE. What's the macro command for "highlighting the text in the URL bar"?

In IE I use [F6] and so do I in K-M. But you can change this shortcut or add [Alt]&[D] if you want to (in accel.cfg).

In order to add Alt + D to go to the URL bar, and, have it 'select' the text . . . from the Menu:

Edit -> Configuration -> Accelerators

scroll to bottom, and add a new line as:

ALT D = ID_SELECT_URL

save the file . . . restart K-Meleon . . . and . . . then . . . Alt + D ( or F6 ) will take you to the URL bar, and, select the text there.

btw, it should be "ALT" rather than "Alt"

Glad the above worked for you, and, yes, you are correct. My post should have said:

ALT D = ID_SELECT_URL

I did 'edit' it with the correction, for anyone else reading this thread.
