Hi, everybody.
The person who made this webpage asked me if I knew. It won't open in K-M, Firefox, or OffByOne. It opens perfectly in IE7.
He asked me to try it on a Mac, but I don't have access to a Mac.
I can send him a general reply about sites that open only in IE, but can anyone give me a more specific reason, which might help him revise his content? He runs other sites that do work perfectly. Thanks.

The MHT file is actually a web archive containing one or more HTML files and possibly some image files too. He needs to unpack the MHT file so that the contents can be viewed in web browsers other than IE.
rstlne is correct.
MHT (or MHTML) format is a M$ propietary extension for IE. This files aren't compatible with any standard and not be able showed by others browsers (not IE).

EXCELLENT! Thank you so much, fellows. I'll tell him right away. I don't think there is any problem with his re-working the files. The problem was in trying to figure out why they weren't working.
Firefox is able to open http://www.angelfire.com/bc/gonebirding/rarebirds.mht when IE Tab 1.3x extension is installed and enabled. It can be found in this link https://addons.mozilla.org/es-ES/firefox/addon/1419 for Firefox 1.5-3.0a4.
