Open everything in new tabs

Is there a way to make everyting open in a new tab?
Even links that point to the same url (server)/

K-Meleon opens links on a page to the same url
in the same tab (overwrites the tab). This
forces the use of the back and forward button.

I have selected every option I can find but
still it overwrites tabs.

For example, I open Newegg.com then select a
category. I want the original tab to stay so
I can revert to it without the back button.

Thanks for any help.

Ctrl + Left-Click opens in a new layer
Ctrl + Right-Click opens in a new layer in background

That's not what I want. I don't want to be forced to use a modifier key
to browse normally. I want the normal behavior for a browser with
the tabbed option selected. To open all links, urls, pages, popups...etc.
n a new tab. Even urls from the same page or server. If I want to open
a page in the background or to overwrite the present tab I will
use a mofifier key.

I have selected options to open all urls in a new tab. I have selected
the option to not open tabs in the present tab. Even with these options
selected K-Meleon still opens urls from the same url or server in the
same tab. That is just wrong and backwards.

An example is when I am at my favorite forum and am browsing the current
list of threads. If I click on a thread, K-Meleon opens that url in the
present tab instead of opening another tab. If I open a url in the thread
K-Meleon again opens the url in the same thread. Now in order to get back
to the original thread or to the list of threads I must browse backward
to find the page that I want. To make it more complicated, I use several
forums at once and this behavior can get very frustrating having to scroll
backwards and forwards searching for a page.

Does anyone know of a way to make the default action in K-Meleon to open
a new tab always unless I opt to do otherwise.

Thanks

Hey man, this is just exactly what I was looking for.
This thing is perfect. It's the fastest browser I have found.

What is K-MeleonCCF?
How is it related to K-Meleon RC1?
Is this an upgrade to K-Meleon or is it a branch?
Is it supported by the K-Meleon team?
What is your relation to the K-Meleon development team?
Why isn't K-Meleon RC1 like this?

Thanks a lot.

K-MeleonCCF

K-MeleonCCF began as an unofficial version of K-Meleon developed by Hao Jiang for use on the ClassiClub Forum. It has evolved into functioning as the development preview of features that may be included in future K-Meleon browsers. The biggest differences between the K-MeleonCCF and K-Meleon 1.0.x release versions are that the CCF versions use an experimental k-meleon.exe[13] which supports a real tab structure (the current 1.0.x and prior 0.9.x versions use a "layer" system, in which separate windows are hidden and revealed so as to appear to be superimposed), and that some of the macros for K-MeleonCCF have been re-written using a Lua-based macro system. Both K-MeleonCCF and K-MeleonCCFME (the "minimum edition" of K-MeleonCCF that is smaller, uses more Lua-based macros, and avoids use of XUL in its menus) are being jointly developed by Hao Jiang and Dorian Boissonnade.[14]

The K-MeleonCCF builds are also available in Chinese versions[15].

And by the way, Dorian will probably soon a release one official tab version of K-Meleon which is being used or will be used in K-MeleonCCF series...
