Under prior versions of KM when I clicked on a .pdf file, it was automatically opened in Acrobat. Now when I click on one, I get the Open/Save dialog box. How do I configure KM to automatically open the .pdf files?

You can config this in two ways;

In menu Edit -> MIME Type Files.
Or in menu Edit -> Advanced Preferences (F2) -> Browsing -> File Handler

I found those dialogs, but WHAT do you enter to accomplish this. There are no examples or instuctions and I have no idea what the specific wording should be.

Usually Acrobat plugin is atomaticlly detected for K-Meleon. (from Acrobat 5.0 and K-Meleon 1.x)
What Acrobat version are you using?
Have you some Acrobat version installed or others PDF reader programs?

I am using Adobe Acrobat 7.0.5 Professional. K-Meleon does detect Acrobat - it just makes me choose whether to "Save" or "Open". I always want to Open and do not want to have the open/save dialog box come up. When I click on a pdf file I want it to just open in Acrobat. It was doing this with KM 1.02 before I installed 1.1.

Disregard all above. I just copied the mimeTypes.rdf from 1.02 directory to the 1.1 and it works fine now. Hope I didn't screw something else up!
