Hi! I have a small issue with my mail and zoombar button. My mail and zoombar buttons just worked fine in K-M 1.02 but now I discovered that they don't work at all with K-M 1.1. my K-m1.1 runs under WinXPsp2 and this is how my toolbar.cfg looks:

Well it doesn't help me with my problem. My problem is when I hit the buttons nothing happens. In K-M1.02 when I hit the mailbarbuttons my mailclient opens and when I hit the zoombuttons the size of the webpage I'm visiting changes but now nothing happens and I don't know what's wrong. I wonder if it has something with the
new mailmacrofile to do? As anyone can see above in toolbar.cfg I have a mailbar and zoombuttons but they don't work in my K-m1.1 that runs under WinXP sp2 so I need help to figure out what the h.... is wrong with K-m!!!! I should say that I often send webpages as links to my friends so I need to get this to work again. It worked just fine last week but now it don't work at all.

I think I discovered the problem but I'm not sure. The problem is in the config when
you have installed K-m 1.1 for the first time or reinstalled and the yoy start to configure the browser with your own options and then restart and start browsing the web. Then after some time the default config loses your personal configuration and the adjustment you have made just vanishes and suddenly nothing works and you have to reinstall k-m again. That is what happend to me.

Rapido I used a fiff tool like csdiff to update some skins ( including some that are originally created by You ). Before I started I put sections in the same order as the updated file that was used for comparison.

Maybe alain packs them so that we have exe installer ( I have not yet found how) ?


AFAIK the spelling of some macros has been changed slightly e. g. in this line.
macros(Zoom_In)|_Zoom_In
So maybe You can put the problematic sections into a file a run a diff tool.

Maybe this idea is of some use for You.

No, probaly the fault of the program
(it is not very smart - waybe I must search for a better diff tool )

Still - I have finished this skin of Yours (but did not know about all the engines that You used).

Maybe You can test or look whether it is any good (so that we know whether it can be prototype for more skin updates ). You have much more experience with creating and updating skins. & If i have a prototype i can probably use this diff tool to help to update some more of the many skins.

No some of the engines has been added recently so you are on the track there with my skin guenter.

P.S. I will try this toolbar and get back with results of it.

The macros for the additional engines probably still need extra update.
I do not use them so I am not sure.

Well guenter the problem is still there nothing happens when pushing the buttons.
When it comes to the searchengines yes some needs to be updated in k-m searchengines profile so you are in the track there as well.
