firewall settings

hi, is there a firewall rule set anywhere so as i can configure my firewal kis antihacker to be used with k-meleon???

Firewall settings are usually part of Your firewall software.

Some Firewalls notify You when a new program starts and tries to access the Internet for the first time - some firewalls must be set to a special learning mode to do that. I prefer the first policy since it let me know when a new progarm starts.

The firewall ruleset is principally the same for all browsers.

For FTP/HTTP/HTTPS you have to allow outgoing TCP connections from any local port to the remote ports 21/80/443 at any remote adress.

For passive FTP you also have to allow outgoing TCP connections from local ports 1024-65525 to the remote ports 1024-65525 at any remote adress.
